What face does the European rural world have in the XXI century? In a 2.0 society, we tend to believe that, except some peculiar zones, the whole world lives in the same, hyper-tecnological way, but the truth is that more than 70% of the world’s population has no internet access yet.
Most of them, are from countries where the pre-industrial way of life is still the norm.
What about Europe? Do we still have a strong presence of people living in a sort of pre-industrial reality?
Many said “its gone!”
“Others say, “ its very little…”
To dig further into this question, I’ll be traveling around Sicily, the door of Europe, to explore villages, capture landscapes and people’s souls in a documentary film called Ccà.
